It is not often that you hear a story like Brooke and Connor’s, nor do many stories begin as early as theirs does. This story starts in 2007, in a small second-grade classroom at Chenango Forks. The two met that September, and have been best friends ever since. Their teacher, Mrs. Collins, joked to Brooke’s mom to watch out for the duo, as they never left each other’s side. She was right.
Connor asked Brooke to be his girlfriend in fifth grade. They have been together through middle school dances, high school proms, college formals, and were always each other’s biggest fans and strongest supporters during high school and college sports. They spent four years of high school side by side before leaving for college in 2018. Brooke and Connor spent four years at colleges 218 miles apart, spending most of their dates on FaceTime. After graduation, they were excited to start their next chapter and moved into their first apartment together as they started new jobs. Connor graduated from Clarkson University with a Civil Engineering degree and Brooke graduated from Binghamton University with a nursing degree and is currently pursuing her Nurse Practitioner degree. Connor and Brooke have gone through many of life’s stages and significant milestones together and have always been each other’s most fervent supporters.
